This is a great class on fundamental drawing skills and to sharpen your observational skills so that you can create, beautiful drawings in charcoal and graphite. Palos Verdes "Art-rageous" Art Camps offer five or six weeks of programming each summer (as well as on other school holidays and vacations). Situated across Griffith Park from Studio City and Universal Studios Hollywood, Occidentals Eagle Rock neighborhood has a cozy, suburban feel while being close to all the action. The Art Summer Institute is not a portfolio building program we find that a concern towards building a portfolio can deter students from taking risks or being experimental and ambitious in their work. An email will be sent to you with the official decision. Then students create a vision board. Newly admitted UCLA students who are looking to get an early start. Students will also have ample opportunity to discuss their portfolios with their instructors throughout the program.
